MDOT Pedestrian Safety Grant Public Comment

In 2019 the Town of Bradley applied to the Maine Department of Transportation for a Pedestrian Safety Grant. The application narrative requested funding to improve the sidewalks in the village district of Bradley (Highland Avenue to Bullen Street). This grant was awarded in 2022. The total cost of the project is estimated to be over $543,000 with the Towns share being capped at $108,600. The voters approved using up to $30,000 of undesignated surplus towards the required match and the Town Council approved using $77,745 from American Recovery Program Act funds and $855 from road construction appropriation. It is now time for the public to provide comments on the project. The project is #3 on the Demand Public meeting on the Maine DOT Meetings site.
