A COMMUNITY RESILIENCE PRIORITY-SETTING WORKSHOP

Presented by EMDC’S Community Resilience Specialist. We will learn about actions that will make Bradley more resilient to extreme weather events and help prioritize the next steps. The event is a step toward the Town becoming a member of Maine’s Community Resilience Partnership.
Items to be discussed include but are not limited to:
- Electric Government Vehicles, EV Charging Stations, Public/Alternative Transportation
- Improve broadband to support telework, remote education, and telehealth
- Weatherize government buildings and residential weatherization programs
- Update LED lighting
- Residential heat pump programs
- Support and install renewable energy
- Protect and Conserve land, and develop natural resources
- Protect and conserve water
- Manage flood risks.
- Protect public health, adopt extreme temperature emergency plan, decrease mosquito habitat
- Engage and educate the community on climate change and action
