Cram Street Road Gateway Installation Survey~ We Want to Hear From You!
The Town of Bradley, in partnership with Bangor Area Comprehensive Transportation Systems (BACTS), is proposing a temporary safety demonstration project on Cram Street (from Highland Avenue to just before Deer Run Lane) for summer and fall 2026, and we want to hear from you!
What’s the goal?
To test design changes that may:
• Improve safety for all road users
• Reduce vehicle speeds
What’s being proposed?
• Three sets of temporary roadway “gateways” using flexposts, paint, and signage
• Speed data collection before and after installation
This project is supported by a Safe Streets for All (SS4A) grant and aligns with the Draft BACTS Regional Complete Streets Policy.
Important to know:
• The project is temporary
• All materials will be removed in early November 2026 for snow removal
• If successful, the design could return in future years on municipal roadways.
We need your input!
Please take a few minutes to complete our survey and share your thoughts on safety, speeds, and travel along Cram Street.
