May 12, 2025 – Special Election for RSU34 – Closure of Viola Rand School
The Town of Bradley will hold a special Election on Monday May 12, 2025 from 3:00pm – 8:00pm at the Bradley Fire Station 171 Main Street.
Absentee ballots will be availble on April 11, 2025 – May 09, 2025. You may request an absentee ballot in the office, via mail, over the phone or email an application to adorr@townofbradley.net
A “NO” vote opposes the closure, meaning Bradley taxpayers would bear the FULL $315,345.66 of estimated cost savings. This is an estimated increase of $1.85 in the tax rate, which is substantial as this rate does not include the county tax or municipal budget.
A “YES” vote supports closing the school, and the 25-26 RSU budget is distributed to Alton, Bradley, and Old Town.
If you have any question on the upcoming election please reach out to the Town Office at 207-827-7725.
